Yearbook Has No Color Without Printer

My students need one color laser printer for the yearbook.

My Students

The students run the yearbook committee and every year they struggle to proof read and format the pages on the computer screen. Being able to print out the pages would make it easier for them.

We are a large city school with a diverse population.

We are a title one school. The yearbook committee is formed by our 8th grade students who wish to create a book depicting all senior activities and school events from their senior grade year. They are very dedicated to this committee.

My Project

The committee is asking for a Lexmark C540N Color Laser Printer because it prints quickly and clearly in color. They will be able to print each page of the yearbook in color as it would appear in the final product. In the past years there have been many errors which has resulted in a fee of ten dollars that must be paid per page with error. This printer will eliminate this fee for the school.

The students are dedicated and work so hard to create a yearbook for their classmates.

It frustrates them when they cannot proofread correctly on the computer. This printer will not only help with proofreading, save funds, it will also help the students complete the book in a timely fashion.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
