My Students

I wrote a proposal to Donor's Choose and was able to receive an LCD Projector. Our classroom computer is not working. We would like to receive a mini notebook for the classroom. This notebook would be used to connect to the projector and also for the students who have difficulty with writing.

My students range from 11-14 years of age.

They are 6th and 7th graders. I teach a 12:1 small class. My students are in a smaller setting because of their learning difficulties. They need a lot of visual aids; hands on activities in order to learn. They also benefit from seeing videos lessons on the Internet.

My Project

I would like to receive a mini notebook. This mini notebook will be used to help students who have a difficulty in writing. I will also use it to get access to the Internet. For example, there are video lessons online that might students can benefit from after my whole lesson that will help students to have better comprehension of lessons that are being taught. I will use it for all subject areas.

This project is important because my school is in a poor area of Brownsville, NY.

I work with a group of wonderful students who are visual learners and they will benefit from the mini notebook.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
