My Students: Students are drawn to digital photo frames. Using a digital photo frame will allow me to promote new books, new series or books related to approaching holidays. A digital photo frame will allow me to show off students that reach their reading goals. Every child likes to see themselves "up in lights"

My students are from a rural area. WP is a true community school that involves parents and local businesses. Despite any challenges that our students face, our school is consistently ranked highly by the state standards. Our students are awesome!

My Project: Digital photo frames will allow me to promote reading with technology. Students in this age love technology so it is my hope that they will see books on the photo frame and go straight to the shelf to check it out and read. I have seen this idea successfully used in other schools and I know it will work at WP.

This project is important because it is another way that I can reach students and promote the love of reading. Reading is a known indicator for school and life success. I hope that this project will increase reading even more. hide»
