My Students

Our students want to learn more about our government, and want to have interaction with other like minded students. They also want to have an opportunity to speak with our elected officials. But for many of our students, they have never even left their neighborhoods.

The students at our school are from low income homes.

Many of our students have never left Pennsylvania, let alone their neighborhoods. A trip to Washington, according to one potential trip goer, "is a trip of a lifetime." Our children are seldom given opportunities because of their upbringings.

My Project

Your donations will help spark our students' quest for knowledge of the US government. It is not too often that inner city students are given the chance to meet and discuss legislation with our Senators. Our students will be able to visit Washington, D.C., visit museums, see our national monuments, discuss legislation, meet students from other states, and many other activities!

This is a great way to show inner city students that they do in fact have a future and other people care about their success.

Help our students see what our country is about. Thank you!
