My students reside in an urban environment and they yearn to live vicariously through Huck Finn's river adventures. If my students were able to have a copy of Mark Twain's classic, "Adventures of Huck Finn", then they will be able to step out of their current life-circumstances and into a more playful yet historically-based adventure. Your donation will transport 7th grade students from their Title I school to the Mississippi River for a first-hand historical experience, while also satisfying their sense of adventure. hide» My students need 65 copies of "The Adventures of Huck Finn" so they can laugh at loud in the privacy of their own metaphorical rafts. details»
