My students need a Digital Camera, a Camera Bag, and a cleaning kit/tripod set.

Self esteem, confidence, creativity and responsibility these are a few qualities that students will develop when using the photo equipment. I am a teacher in the field of Physical Education and touch the lives of all students from k4 to 8th grade. My school prides itself in the advances it has made in the area's of health, nutrition and fitness among staff as well as students. It's always looking to better itself.

My school doesn't own it's own camera! We have to borrow the one from the before and after school camp program. This makes it difficult to have students take pictures during school events when the camera is locked up. We have an enrollment of over 600 students and very few memories displayed within the school of student participation in school happenings. The other catch is if we were to use the camera we would not be allowed to leave the building with the camera. That makes it difficult to take pictures when classes go on field trips and when our school teams play at other schools.

What I am looking for is a nice camera, camera bag and a basic starter kit to maintain the camera. If we were to get the resources we are asking for, select students would be trained in the use of the camera and care of it as well. The photo's would be of special events, sports games and amazing class field trips. Plus we would be allowed to use it when we need it and where we need it. I hope to start a small photo team for the school but one thing at a time.

With your help the students at my school will have their memories captured on film so they can look back at them and see where they have been and how much they have accomplished throughout the year. Thank You in advance.
