Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a first-year teacher Fourth grade teacher at an incredible charter school. My class consists of 24 students from lower socioeconomic levels. They are all incredible students that love to learn and participate in the arts and technology.

We need more technology in our class. I have 24 eager learners that absolutely love technology but unfortunately, we do not have any computers in our class to help them learn and grow in this extremely competitive and high-tech society.

By providing my class with 2 desktop computers my students will be able to now work on math games, complete Social Studies projects using programs like Word and PowerPoint. In English we sometimes need to type up our work but because of our limited technology time we are not always able to complete our assignments. I would love to have these two desktop computers in my class as resources that my students will be able to use on a wide variety of assignments.

My students need to have the opportunity to use the technology that we as a society depend on everyday to be able to compete in our highly competitive world. Please help me give provide them with the tools that will allow them to succeed.
