I have a multicultural classroom of high school students where language is often a barrier--my job is to help unite them and elevate their learning through visuals.

Imagine how difficult it is for a student who has no command of the English language to analyze concepts of literature or the written word. Drawing pictures on a chalk board just isn't time efficient or a good use of classroom time.

A daylight projector will enable me to download images to facilitate their linking of ideas to words. More importantly, they will learn how to create their own projects and demonstrate the full range of their learning.

Your generosity will allow these children to do more than just commit sounds to memory in the hopes of passing a test: you can help them understand; you can validate their personal thinking process; you can make a difference.
