Reading is the key to personal and educational success! The more kids love to read, the more they grow and succeed! This year I am teaching both 7th and 8th grade students as part of a new split-core system adopted by my school. This provides new challenges for me as a teacher because I must balance the needs and standards of both grades I teach. Each kid needs a chance to have fun in English class. Kids who make their own books have deeper connections with literature. Help every kid love reading by giving them the tools to design professional literature of their own! Help me make reading fun and easy.

Kids struggle with reading and don't like writing. I want my students to enjoy reading & writing. Kids will use different academic skills in order to make their own books. Math skills will be employed when students cut their letters and shapes using the Die Cutter Machine. Science skills and Art skills will be employed when kids use hot glue guns and digital cameras to make professional looking journals, diaries, poetry books and much, much more! Your donations give kids a reason to want to engage in literary. Kids who don't like reading, will love to decorate their books using a Die Cutter Machine. Kids can make creative character connections by decorating bright books with a Die Cutter Machine, hot glue guns, craft supplies, peel & stick kid figures, glitter glue, wiggle eyes etc. Kids will use the Die Cutter Machine to cut shapes to decorate each book for display during Parent Night.

Kids will learn the joy of creating their own books, diaries, and journals with a Die Cutter Machine, bright books, wiggle eyes, peel & stick kid shapes, decorative gems and hot glue guns to display kid-made books. Every supply you give makes every kid's English experience ROCK! I plan to try harder to make sure every kid gets to experience creative fun in 8th grade English. Your donations only make me a better teacher.
