The pencils have already made a huge difference—something as simple as having enough materials helps students feel prepared and ready to learn every day.\r\n\r\nThe highlight, though, has definitely been the STEM kits. When students first saw them, they were immediately curious and eager to get started. There was a lot of excitement and questions like, \"Are we really going to do this?\" and \"Wait, we just figure it out on our own?\" It created an instant sense of engagement and ownership in their learning.\r\n\r\nThis month students will work in small groups on hands-on forensic science activities. They will be using the blood typing kit and drug detection kit to simulate real-world investigations, and they are especially fascinated by our Forensic Chemistry of Hair Analysis project. I am thrilled for them to know what it feels like to be in a real lab environment, with students thinking critically and collaborating with one another.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped bring science to life in our classroom.
