The following materials will allow my students the ability to conduct scientific investigations and problem solve with clipboards to walk around and collect data, whiteboards to gather data and construct explanations, folders and files to store their information, and utensils to write and build within the classroom. These supplies will allow the classroom to function in an investigative way of building models, gathering science data, watching demonstrations, and conducting hands on science experiments. Many of the items such as large poster paper will allow for a collaborative classroom environment where students construct explanations and share with their classmates with presentations of scientific data and a classroom environment of caring and sharing.
