This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a first year teacher in a low social economic area. I teach fourth grade at a charter school filled with amazing students that need more materials to help engage and excite them about math.

My math class is comprised of 25 at risk students who struggle with fourth grade math. They are sweet kids and we need more materials to have fun centers that are engaging, educational and fun. I want to use these materials for centers so I can work in smaller groups and give more individual attention to each student. I am getting many to enjoy math but the 1 game we have is from the 1970's and it is missing pieces. We do not have any math manipulative's in our room and we would love to be able to get a few this year.

These resources will be so incredibly helpful to make my math centers more productive for my struggling students. I am lucky to get an aide 3 days a week and she would be able to help them with the manipulative's while I work with smaller groups.

Please help out in anyway you can, math is a difficult subject for many kids and I am very enthusiastic about making their math time with me as productive and educational as possible. Your donations will make a big difference in the lives of my math students.
