I teach Physical Education grades 9 - 12. We have over 100 students in the gym at one time.

On a typical day everyone does warm up drills and the boys play basketball and the girls sit in the bleachers.

We need a variety of activities for our students. Everyone does not play basketball. We are requesting a Ping Pong Table. If this project is funded we will begin to get a few more students physically active.

Mississippi leads the nation in childhood obesity. Our students are enrolled in physical education classes, but we lack the resources to get everyone involved. The gift of a ping pong table will be a start to creating a lifestyle of physical fitness in our youth.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
