My energetic first grade astronauts are rising stars ready to explore. I am a first grade teacher is a district with considerable budget shortfalls. My students are eager to learn and use interactive technology to facilitate this.

It is sad to watch the disappointment come across the face of my students when the computer I have for them doesn't work right, or we run out of time. With only one computer for my 18 students to use, there never seems to be enough time in the day. A second computer will allow more time for my kids to explore enriching web-based activities and resources to help with reading and math.

Each day, my students are able to use the web to explore a specific site assigned by me to reinforce the concepts I have taught over the course of the previous week. This reinforcement through games and activities helps to concrete the information with the child.

I can't thank you enough for just considering this donation. You are helping to make a difference in the lives of students and families you don't even know. I appreciate your kindness and dedication to the future of our world. Your help will make a difference to my students and to me.
