Currently I rely on the donations of any type of folders that I can get to help my chorus students keep the music they have organized and in good shape. The folders do not match and usually fall apart by the end of the semester. They are also showing a better responsibility in keeping these materials in good condition. My program is growing as I have 75% of my 7th grade choral students changing their schedules to come back to choir in the second semester. I want to give the students the best choral experience that I can. This entails getting them to feel as though they belong to a group. This, in turn, lets them perform better as a group. To do this, the students need quality choral folders to keep their music in. This will give them confidence to keep borrowed materials in good condition and the responsibility to keep music organized. You will make it possible for my students to feel like a member of a group. Uniformity in choral programs brings a better sense of group empowerment. Also, teaching responsibility not only plays a part in my class, but is a skill that can be taken out into real-life situations. hide» My students need 40 choral music folders to keep the music organized and in good shape. details» |
