What should students do when they come to a word that they don't know? Should they have to waste valuable learning minutes waiting for the teacher who is also serving 20 other needy students? My school is a high poverty school in Oklahoma. Most of my students read considerably below grade level and could use the individual assistance a tag reader could provide them with.

Many of our students don't get the extra attention of parents reading aloud to their children at home, and studies show that this puts them at a severe disadvantage in reading abilities. While at school, students are often not afforded one on one attention due to large class sizes.

With the Tag Readers, students can read independently and put valuable reading time to good use - without wasting a minute! The Tag readers provide motivation for reading for students who are not generally motivated by traditional books.

Your donation to purchase the Leapfrog Tag Readers will provide motivation and support to struggling readers.
