Special Education/Developmental Preschool Materials
My special education preschool students need 11 manipulatives for developmental play, including peg boards, fine motor games, play food and write and touch boards.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. E.'s classroom raised $496
This project is fully funded
This is my first year teaching students with special needs. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach developmental preschool in a high-needs community. The disabilities of my students range from mild cognitive delays to severe autism.
The classroom in which I am currently teaching is a brand new classroom at our school! As the new special education preschool teacher, I am in urgent need to build up my classroom supplies and materials. Teaching students with special needs requires a great deal of manipulatives! I am requesting manipulatives for our developmental play and literacy centers. Some of the manipulatives include play food for our happy home center, write and touch boards, peg boards, fine motor games, and building blocks.
Since my classroom is a new addition to our school, my principal recommended that I visit this website to help establish my classroom resources. Receiving these manipulatives will provide my students with extra stimulation and add resources to our developmental play and literacy stations. Receiving these resources will provide opportunities for my students to explore, build, create, and practice their fine motor skills!
By donating these resources, you will make it possible for my students to have a variety manipulatives to stimulate their mind! I appreciate your support!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
