I teach developmental/special needs preschool at a Blue Ribbon school that services children in a high-needs community. All of my students have been diagnosed with developmental delays that put them at risk for school failure. Some of them will later be diagnosed with autism, learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, or other health/physical impairments. It is the hope of the developmental preschool program that some our students will out grow their developmental delay with intense intervention. Since my preschoolers are between the ages of 3 and 5, music and movement are important activities that need to be experienced on a daily basis!

About my class
