My students are seniors who are learning about all the different business environments, careers, college requirements, employee rights, and safety in the workplace.

In order to bring some real world practical experience into the classroom, my students are preparing a safety procedure with district policies for our school site. Each classroom will receive a copy of evacuation maps, safety policies, and other pertinent information in case of a disaster.

In order to add some professionalism to the project, students are going to provide each classroom with a standard packet on a clipboard to hang in each room. With 160 new clipboards, my students will put together a polished final product that they can be proud of. Not only will they have more awareness of business place practices, but they will be utilizing project based learning which is essential for college readiness.

Your help will make it possible for students to see their work used for the safety of over 2,500 people on their campus. Talk about real world impact!
