Help us to flex our brain power with these great flashcards. I teach honors anatomy and physiology in a New Hampshire high school. My class is part of a concurrent enrollment program with a local community college so my students have the opportunity to earn college credits while still attending high school. The majority of my students are interested in pursuing careers in medicine so I am trying to build a strong foundation of knowledge that they can build on in the future. Due to budgetary issues, there is no money in our district to buy anything that is not considered an absolute necessity so there is no way we woudl be able to purchase these cards.

My students are required to learn a list of 50 muscles as a part of the skeletal system unit. We currently do not have any supplies that we can use in our classroom to help us prepare for the exam over this unit. With the skeletal muscles, there are no models like you find with the bones where you can have skeleton that students can touch and see in three dimensions. During our bone unit, my students have access to two disarticulate skeletons as well as the handsome skeleton that modeled for our profile picture. We don't have any such materials for the muscles.

The flashcards that we are asking for would give us an opportunity to study the muscles in a more intricate fashion. The students would be able to see a good, color representation of the individual muscles as well has have access to all pertinent information such as innervation, motion, origin and insertion. With these cards, they will be able to work with a partner, or alone, to learn the necessary information.

Your help would enable my students to thoroughly review the location and function of the skeletal muscles. This is information that several of them will be using in their future careers as physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and doctors.
