Hello my class is comprised of 12 Special Education students from an inner city school in New York. The purpose of our school is to teach our student's the skills that are required in order to obtain and maintain a job.

My students are all learning to read. We have access to books on tape, however we do not have the all the necessary resources to listen to the books as a class.

By securing the headphone splitters and headphones the class as a whole will be able to listen to books on tape in order to build our reading skills.

One moment with my students is priceless. Reality hits you in the face. The skills that I am responsible for teaching them can mean the difference of them getting a job or not. This product will enable them to strengthen their reading skills. With strong reading skills my students will be able to secure and maintain a job. This will allow them to lead productive lives and be contributors to society.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
