I am a kindergarten teacher in Idaho. I have 48 students enrolled in my classroom this year who have varying abilities. I teach in a high-need area in a classroom that is in high-need of good educational materials.

My students need of variety of learning materials to enhance their learning in the area of reading, math and science. Hands-on materials allow my children to be actively engaged in learning new concepts and practicing established ones. Currently, my classroom is lacking in these kinds of materials. I need your help in order to ensure that my students receive the best education possible.

My children need to have access to lots of different educational learning games: Eric Carle Games Collection (The Grouchy Ladybug, Very Quiet Cricket, Brown Bear and The Very Hungry Caterpillar), First Learning Games (What Do You See? Color Game, Rhymes Game, Counting Game and Letter Game), and Classic Games for Beginners (Memory Game, Candy Land, Scrabble Jr. and Boggle Jr.) These games allow children to explore rhyme, colors, counting, letters, numbers and word building in a fun and exciting way. My children need activities to engage them in word building and writing like the Word Family Write and Wipe Activity Cards and I Can Build Simple Words kit. The Five Senses Discovery Center will allow my children to explore, in depth, their five senses. Shape Finders, the Geometric Shapes Tub, and the Measuring Centers provide a hands-on introduction into several important kindergarten math concepts.

You will make it possible for my students to learn in an environment filled with lots of "Luscious" learning materials, materials that are richly sweet and delighting to the senses. Which is exactly how five and six year old children learn.
