I teach amazing inner-city students in Massachusetts. Specifically, I work in the school's Communications Academy, a specialized program for students who have a strong interest in video/film production, photography, and graphic design. These students are struggling against the odds, and succeeding! In fact, 100% of them go on to college, compared to 46% of the general population of the school. They work hard, and chase after their dreams. My goal is to help them reach those dreams.

We have computers in a video editing lab, but no headphones! It's hard for students to work on musical scores, sound editing, or video production when they are trying to listen over 19 other workstations.

We need 20 sets of headphones that will allow my students the opportunity to concentrate as they do their work. The splitters will allow students working in groups to all wear headphones as they work on their projects. This is very important, as most of them go on to study digital media in college, and use their work in my classroom for their college application portfolios.

Your donation will allow my students to concentrate in class, and spend more time working on their projects and college portfolios and less time fighting to hear through all of the excess noise.
