My fifth-grade Cougars need a looking glass for all subjects! The school is in a high-need community that is striving for excellence by equipping our students with the right tools.

Being in a high-need community,coupled with budget cuts and a lack of supplies, these students are disadvantaged with little to no opportunity to experience learning through technology. Our curriculum calls for interactive learning that needs to be projected for the class to see. Technology brings the lessons to life for these "video babies".

The LCD projector is the looking glass that in the past has allowed my students a passage to a new way of learning. The LCD projector was a key tool to having more engaged, enthused, and higher growth learners for our team. Due to budget cuts, LCD projectors are not readily available and students are less engaged.

Your help will empower these often forgotten children, to be their best by having their learning style needs met while opening up the world of learning. Your help will aid in bridging the achievement gap that is often widened when students do not have the opportunity for hands on learning provided by their environment. These students may not be able to take the same field trips nor utilize more advanced technology as other students do; but this LCD projector will help level the playing field as proven in the past.
