"Help us have fun learning all 50 states. I teach third grade and my class is going to learn all 50 states. I recently read that children in Japan know more about our states than we do. I AM going to change that. Our school is a charter school and therefore gets little to no funding for any kind of extras. Many of my children live below the poverty line and most receive free or reduced lunch. There is so much going against them, that I want them to have something to look forward to. SCHOOL!
I want all of my students to not only know the states but also the capitals, the geographic location and climate of the states. This rug provides a colorful and descriptive learning map of the United States. By having this US map rug our students will better know the U.S. and will also provide a terrific place for us to have class meetings and discussions. By helping us, you will ensure that the future students from this school will know the states and capitals of the United States as they venture out into the world. Thanks in advance for your help.
