Seeing is believing. I am a high school teacher of students with multiple disabilities in an inner city school.

I have a wonderful group of high school students who will one day graduate and become a productive part of society. My students have varying abilities, but all need concrete examples and experiences. It is often difficult for my students to grasp and retain concepts unless they have seen or worked with a particular idea. Giving my students an opportunity to access more visual assistance and cues will undoubtedly promote success.

My students and I would love to have an ELMO projector for our classroom to enhance learning and motivation. Although my school cannot afford to purchase an ELMO, it is greatly needed for my population of students. Students with multiple disabilities face a wealth of challenges in relation to academics, self-esteem and motivation. The ELMO projector will allow me to provide visual step-by-step instruction and examples. It will also help motivate my students to participate and become more engaged when they have the opportunity to display their work for all to see, not to mention this will positively assist my students who have some visual impairments.

There is no question that your donation will be greatly used and appreciated. My students will have a new avenue to learn, grow and participate in their educational setting. You will be supporting a group of students whose academic career has faced constant challenges. This is an opportunity to truly make a difference.
