Hello, I teach in an under resourced community in the West side of Chicago. My students are 9th graders who enjoy writing and publishing their work.

Students in my class take their writing seriously and work hard to edit, draft and revise. Often, however, they see their work disappear when they misplace their working drafts or the computers crash or simply stop working.

I'd like to create a classroom writing and publishing center where students can keep published writing organized, and drafts safely backed up in a flash drive until they are ready to be printed in our literary magazine.

Keeping their writing organized and safely stored will help my students reach that gratifying feeling when it's time to publish their hard work. By helping us create a well organized writing and publishing center with the help of storage cabinets, hanging files and flash drives you will be contributing to their feeling of accomplishment.
