Hello. I am a sixth grade art teacher at a Title One School in an urban area. My students are very eager learners and want to experience all aspects of art.

In my school I teach a Claymation class. We have been using the school computer for the animation portion of the Claymation movie, but it is a very simplified version. I also have not done any computer art programs in the regular art class. I do not the programs or computer capabilities to do so. With all of the budget cuts art is the last area to be supplied and our school has a contract with only Dell. It is impossible to get a user friendly, creative arts, type of computer like the MacBook.

This is where you can help. I would like to purchase a Macbook laptop that can travel with me from class to class. This laptop would allow for my Claymation class to do more editing and create higher quality movies and enter competitions. It would also allow for my 6th graders to have the opportunity to create computer art and graphics. Macbooks are the best brand for graphics, computer art and digital photography.

In today's world knowing about technology will give you a heads up in the job market. Giving my students an opportunity to have the Macbook will allow them the opportunity to use a different computer system and will give them a chance to learn about art professions such as graphic art and digital photography. Please help us get the Macbook. You will be inspiring future artists.
