I am a first grade teacher in a challenging college prep charter school in Los Angeles, CA.

Technology is all around all of us and therefore should be present in the classroom as well. Each day my students leave their houses that are filled with technology like ipods, televisions, computers, etc. They come to school where there is almost no technology present. They listen to me lecture, watch me draw flat pictures on the whiteboard, and many other old techniques that cannot keep up with the pace their minds are moving at.

I need a Interwrite MOBI pad (similar to an interactive whiteboard). This allows me to bring technolgy to my students every day and with every lesson. If I am teaching my students about counting coins I can bring up coins on the interactive whiteboard and have students move the computerized coins into purses until they reach a certain amount. If I am teaching verbs I can post a poem on the interactive whiteboard, remove all the verbs, and have the students write in their own verbs. This product will change the way I am able to teach my technologically minded students.

You will help to ensure that my students do not get left behind in this new era of education. This interwrite MOBI pad will be the technological bridge between my students and I.
