Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 2nd grade in an inner-city school in Downtown Los Angeles. Our students are mainly Latino and are still learning English properly. They have difficulty in writing and sentence structure, so showing their work on the projector would be very helpful.

My school has no funds because of the budget shortage, and this would be a wonderful tool to help them with their writing.

The LCD Projector and document camera will help my students in all subjects, especially writing. During Writer's Workshop, I can show students a particular kid's writing to demonstrate errors in language structure during our writing time.

You will make it possible for my students to learn how to be great writers while also increasing their vocabulary.
