The Right Boards For Write Boards Is Whiteboards

My students need 42 individual white board sheets and 112 markers for more interactive learning.

Old Chalkboards Are Inefficient!!! I teach 8th - 9th grade students at a gifted public school. We are currently undergoing construction because we are adding a complete 9-12 high school in addition to the middle school. In the meantime, we need dry erase boards, but the items that I have chosen will make do until the dry erase boards can be purchased and installed.

My classroom is filled with old black boards around two walls. The chalkboards are old and dusty. It is very hard to write legibly. I need materials that will accomplish a dust free environment in which I can set up stations about the classroom that will allow the groups of students to work simultaneously without any further health hazards. This last quarter, we have to cover an enormous amount of material and I have already personally purchased as many items as my budget will allow. I have finally gotten the students hooked on the geometry topics, but now I need to get them more involved.

The dry erase sheets can be place about the room on top of the chalkboards without causing damage to the underlying chalkboards. We will need markers and erasers, too. More than one student can go to the boards, groups of students can work around the room, and I can still have my space for notes and blackboard configurations.

Your help will provide much needed materials that will make the classroom move more efficiently and safely. With your help, the students can be more active in the classroom and participate in group activities. I am almost positive that the hands on approach will achieve the greatest student achievement without the expensive cost of technology.
