The students are able to enjoy activities that would otherwise be not possible. Each student used their creativity to make a respiratory system with the putty. They also got to make a digestive system with the tubing in the sensory kit to show the length of the small and large intestine. Hands on projects really make the information stick in their minds. We also made some system drawing and got to laminate them for the students to keep \r\n\r\nThe bean bags were a BIG hit with the students being able to play tag/hot potato during our soccer lesson. We started the year with fresh equipment and a new curriculum to bring new ideas to some old skills. The students have been engaged in physical activity and higher order of thinking to challenge each other in a productive way. \r\n\r\nWhen the students saw all 6 bags of new equipment they were elated to say the least. We have started with games using the foam soccer ball to play a game indoors like mat ball.
