Hola! Soy una profesora de español e yo necesito tu ayuda. Hello, I am a K-8 Spanish teacher working at a Charter School with limited resources in need of your help.

I'm asking for Spanish/English dictionaries for my classroom. I have five dictionaries in my classroom, and students are constantly asking, "How do you say this in Spanish?" or "Can I use the dictionary?" Unfortunately, in a school of almost 200, the student's do not have Spanish textbooks and five dictionaries aren’t going to cut it. If I had a dictionary for each student during class, we would be able to explore the Spanish language more efficiently.

If each student had a dictionary to use in class, I would be able to create more activities and encourage self-learning. I requested two electronic dictionaries as well. Electronic dictionaries would be more time efficient, but, in my classroom, they would be beneficial for group projects and as incentives. Students going above and beyond would be able to use them as a reward. Having electronic dictionaries on hand would be extremely beneficial and helpful for students with special needs.

We are living in a growing nation. Spanish is becoming more and more of a popular language. Hispanics are the highest growing population in this great Melting Pot of a country today. With your help, my students can open their eyes to a whole new world and expand their interests.
