Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach third grade at an incredible magnet school. Our student population is very diverse.

My students love learning new things, but we lack non-fiction history books. My students would benefit from reading non-fiction literature from history and today.

Reading non-fiction literature will help improve my students’ reading abilities and enhance their understanding of important people and their contributions in history. I need literature on presidents from George Washington to Barack Obama. I also need books on civil rights activists, and many others.

Your contributions will help make history come alive for my students for years to come!
