Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach kindergarten in a low socio-economic area where many children are still learning English.

It is difficult for these children to learn English because English is not spoken at home and if it is it is usually not a good model.

In order to improve English in the classroom, I need a camcorder to film the students doing certain tasks so we can play it back and talk or write about it. This way the subject matter will be familiar.

With this generous donation. we will be well on our way to becoming proficient English speakers.
