My students need gallon containers of red, yellow, blue, white, and black acrylic mural paints, 68 paint brushes, and acrylic gloss to seal the murals.

I am an art specialist for a public elementary school. It is my job to implement the visual arts curriculum for Pre-K thru 5th grade according to district and state guidelines. My fifth grade students are very creative when it comes to creating posters for all occasions, promoting social awareness in almost every aspect.

Many of my students come up with lots of great phrases geared towards academic achievement. The problem is that they are given paper to create posters and paper will fade with time. This project would be an extraordinary opportunity to bring students from all backgrounds cooperatively, to work together in creating wonderful eye catching educational phrase murals throughout our building.

The students will need acrylic paints in red, yellow, blue, black and white, and plenty of brushes to get the job done before promotion time. Students would have one very important goal in common, working together to produce awesome works of art! These murals would serve as a reminder to present and future students key components skills in obtaining a successful education.

Your donation will help my students to accomplish the goal of creating permanent educational phrase murals throughout our building promoting great study skills for academic success. This project will not only promote great study skills, but also give our students a sense of pride in leaving behind a legacy of beautiful art work. With your contribution, we will be able to accomplish just that.
