The dot markers were so fun to use on International Dot Day, while making self portraits, class murals, and more! We use the washable markers almost daily in one class or another. The youngest learners especially love them as they come up with the most inventive drawings. \r\n\r\nThe students have used the sharpies to draw stories and complete fall-inspired designs. They get particularly excited when we get to bring out these \"special markers.\" We continue to use all of the art materials provided to enhance the art education at Woodward. The snacks are also a big help because they give my students a little boost during the school day and help them stay focused.\r\n\r\nWe are continuing to work hard on our reading and math skills. During reading, my students are practicing reading fluently, understanding what they read, and answering questions about the text. We also work in small groups so I can give students extra support based on their individual needs. In math, we are building our skills through hands-on activities and practice.\r\n\r\nMy students are very thankful for the generous donors who helped provide these resources for our classroom.
