I am a library-media teacher working in an urban school district. At this Title I school, I teach information literacy skills to grades 3-6. We currently lack a set of encyclopedias for students to conduct research. Please make a contribution, so we may purchase a current set of Britannica Encyclopedias. Annually, students must complete various research projects, including ancient Rome, Egypt, the water cycle, Hispanic-American history, etc. After completing their research they work hard to create presentations to showcase what they have learned. Your contribution will help us purchase an off-line research option that will add more detail and depth to student presentations. Specifically, we have chosen the 2007 Encyclopedia Britannica. This encyclopedia set has full color photographs, illustrations, maps, charts, and diagrams which make finding information easy for both students and teachers. Thank you for your consideration!
