My students need 19 read-aloud books such as "Pancakes, Pancakes!" and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" to supplement our unit on foods. This unit will help students to learn about different kinds of foods and foods from other cultures.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach preschool in a low-income, urban community. My young students are getting an opportunity to become life-long learners and become valuable members of the community.

We have a wonderful unit all about foods and restaurants. The books we need for this unit have not been supplied by the school district.

To help the students gain a better understanding for the unit and to continue to enhance their love for reading and learning, we need these books that wrap into the unit for our daily read-aloud time.

You can help to enforce the wonderful lessons from the unit and help my students' love for learning to grow and grow everyday by helping us to obtain these wonderful books.
