Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am the teacher of 36 wonderful and curious little learners. My students are in preschool and are 3- and 4-years-old. They live in a low-income, urban neighborhood.

There is a lot of construction going on in our city and we have a wonderful unit on construction zones, tools, and buildings for these young leaners. However, the books needed to supplement the unit were not provided by the school system.

Incorporating these books into the curriculum will not only help these children to learn more about what they see going on around them but it will also help build their love for books.

By helping us to receive these materials you will be helping these students to learn about the world around them and build their love for learning and books. Please help me teach these children to be life-long learners.
