We're a family learning and teaching one another. I teach all subjects at the second grade level. Our school is a Carbo modeled school and benefits greatly from recorded books and book sets.

I just started teaching last year and was constantly checking out books from the library or borrowing from others teachers. When the library was closed or books were in use, my students' reading interest decreased. I can't wait to have book sets in the classroom for my students to choose from.

I am in need of book sets and recorded books for my classroom. I have students who range from K - 5th grade reading levels. It is important to have a variety of books for students to choose from.

You will make it possible to help my emergent readers become independent readers. With book sets available my students will be able to find a series that they enjoy reading and will ensure that my students' reading skills improve.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
