We are all citizens of the world and we need to understand each other to live in peace. I teach second grade students who are curious about themselves and our different families.

I am always looking for materials that make Social Studies accessible to this grade level. They love reading about the personal experiences of children their age.

I have chosen a group of books for us to read that encompass a wide geographic and experiential range. These books will create interest in learning even more about these areas and generate fruitful questions and conversations.
