Once we slipped those laminated copies in the dry erase pockets, the students were amazed by how easy their writing would erase from the pockets! Their favorite thing is when I give them a few minutes to draw on them before or after a lesson.\r\n\r\nBecause they have colors on the sides, students automatically organize them by their colors when putting them away.\r\n\r\nI hope to use these in more subjects and especially when students are on the rug since they are sturdy (not flexible).\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting our learning and classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1728309104291,"projectUrl":"project/new-dry-erase-pockets/8473039/","projectTitle":"New Dry Erase Pockets!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Connie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/conniema"},{"teacherId":46256,"projectId":8803258,"letterContent":"Thank you once again for supporting my class by funding these wonderful planter boxes. We began planting in November, starting with radish seeds and lettuce seedlings. The children take their roles and responsibilities of caring for what's growing VERY SERIOUSLY! The fun and learning has been happening - as day in, day out, the students get to observe and record the growth of what they've planted. It's such a reward to see their eyes light up every day when they walk past those planter boxes with sense of pride and ownership in what they've planted and grown. \r\n\r\nOur culmination will be reading the story, Stone Soup, and then I will make a plan where the children will volunteer to contribute an ingredient to make a ' STONE SALAD'. The children will get to harvest the lettuce and radishes that they've grown, and work together to prepare the ingredients they bring in. And they will get to enjoy the 'fruits of their labor'.
