Ms. S. Constitution High School
Philadelphia, PA Grades 9-12

I teach peer mediation and college preparation. I also run the Mentor program with a community partner. Our students are inner city, low income (Title 1) and many have language learning issues. They are extremely bright and hardworking, with a drive to succeed and love of learning.

Our school has no resources for students to prepare for the SAT and AP exams. We do not have any guides for colleges. Our students need to know about their options after high school, and be motivated to apply for college, knowing that resources are there to help them pay for and realize their dreams.

These books will create a classroom library for college preparation, including guides to schools, AP/SAT/ACT test preparation, and financial aid planning. Our students will benefit by increasing their options for the future.

Our students are underfunded and underrepresented in colleges and most professions. We need your help to get them to the next level.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
