I teach an Animal Sciences class for grades 10-12 that has about 50 students. In this class, students learn comparative anatomy and physiology of domestic animals. Because I teach in an urban school, we are limited to in-class experiences. Our school has very limited field trips, so the students are unable to go outside of the school to see domestic animals. Students need a more hands-on approach to the information. Pictures and drawings are very limited. In order to help students get this experience, I need disarticulated dog and cat skeletons. This will help them understand the skeletal system of the dog and cat. I am asking for two disarticulated dog skeletons and one cat skeleton. This will help them see and feel the dog and cat bones. It will also help them learn dog and cat skeleton anatomy by reassembling the dog and cat skeletons themselves.
