My students need a class trip for 40 students to participate in a water workshop at the Buffalo Museum of Science.

What was one of the best days of your school years? If you ask my students most will remember a class field trip. They learn without even knowing their learning and they really remember those trips. I work in an urban school district that is at approximately 87% poverty level. My room is an inclusion room (special education and regular teachers and students work together to learn and teach).

My students love science as much as I do. This trip would give them an exceptional opportunity to have fun and learn at the same time. Few of my students ever get the chance to visit the museum on their own.

We need transportation, admission fees, and workshop fees. This trip will provide them with hands on experiments based on New York State Standards. A chance to tour the Science Museum and a day to be with one another.

Think back to your school days and remember how exciting a field trip was. How much you learned and still remember. Please give my students that same chance.
