My students need one High-Fire White Clay Advanced Supply Kit.

I teach high school art in a rural community that serves a diverse population of students.

Our school system is facing a budget crisis, and money for the arts is seriously limited. Students see the potter's wheel and ask, "When are we going to do that?" The fact is that we don't have the funding to buy the amount of clay necessary for every student to learn this skill.

This clay would enable my classes to have exposure to working with clay on a level that allows them to gain proficiency, as opposed to being given one piece of clay for their entire project. Advanced students would be able to complete multiple projects that they may even be able to use in portfolios when applying to college art programs. The selection of glazes would provide the opportunity for developing their creativity in finishing their work.

Your help will provide my students with resources that will engage them in those experiences with the most educational benefit instead of those which cost the least amount of money.
