My Project

My classroom is a lively, blended community of kindergarten and first-grade learners. At this foundational stage, small-group instruction is where the magic happens. It is a safe, encouraging space where students receive targeted support and collaborate closely with their peers.

Our young students are eager to express their ideas, but they need strong, consistent visual structures to help them transition into confident readers and independent writers.

Mastering letter formation is a highly physical skill that requires explicit modeling. The magnetic ruled paper will allow me to write big, demonstrating exactly how letters sit on a baseline, reach the top line, or hang down into the spaces.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
