Bookaroo Pouch

Help me give my students a book pouch to help them keep their books safe!

My Project

The Bookaroo Pouch will give K–2 students a safe and special place to carry their library books between school and home. Young students are excited to take books home, but books can easily become bent, torn, wet, or dirty while traveling in backpacks. Each Bookaroo Pouch will help protect library books and keep them together so students can enjoy reading without worrying about damaging their books.

My goal is to help every young reader take care of their books while also building a love for reading.

By providing Bookaroo Pouches, students will have an easy way to safely carry their books back and forth from school to home. This project will also help students learn responsibility and understand the importance of caring for shared library materials.

Our K–2 students are special because they are at an important stage in becoming lifelong readers. For many of them, taking a book home from school is an exciting experience and an opportunity to share reading with their families. The Bookaroo Pouch will give our youngest readers a safe little home for their books and help make sure their stories arrive safely wherever their reading adventures take them.
