My Project

As I've been setting up my new art room in a new school these past ten days, there are some items that didn't make it in the move and a few things we need to make things nicer. These are important, essential materials that we will need the first weeks of school.

Neon oil pastels will be used to create our black light gallery pieces for the Spring Art Show, but we work on them all year.

Tempera paint sticks are a way for kindergarteners and first graders to learn to paint in a non-messy way. Our room is very large and there are a lot of strange smells such as epoxy, paint, cardboard, etc. being newly built. A few air fresheners will be a blessing to make our room more inviting and homey.

Finally, we need a broom to sweep our floors daily as one of the art room jobs. Students love to wipe down tables, sweep and pick up trash/ I hope to keep this new room looking new!
